Hello World
Welcome to Built and Broke — a place where I write honestly about the projects I work on, the things I break, and what I learn from both.
Why three sections?
Most technical blogs only show the highlight reel. Projects that worked, code that was clean, decisions that paid off. That's not the full picture.
Build is where I write about projects that shipped — what I built, why I chose the tech I did, and what trade-offs I made.
Broke is the more interesting section. Outages, bad architecture calls, features that had to be ripped out. Post-mortems. The stuff that actually teaches you something.
General is everything else — thoughts on learning, career, tools I use, and concepts worth writing down.
What to expect
No tutorials that work perfectly on the first try. No architecture diagrams that pretend the first version was the right one. Just what actually happened.
If you've built something and broken it, you'll find something here worth reading.
